So, you know, there's obviously not a lot of great things to say about, you know, silver linings or anything like that.

But yeah, you know, obviously when you got a guy like Richard Sherman, who's, you know, going to be a Pro Football Hall of Famer, kind of talking about, playing a style that fits your guys.

You know, that's, that's something that, you know, that really came up with 13 personnel last year with, you know, with Sean McVay, you know, he lost Puka.

So he said, what do I have an abundance of big giant tight ends? And so boom, 13 personnel was kind of born and, you know, start taking, um, you know, taken off from there.

They've always had a quarterback that you'd be like, damn, he's good, but then he turns into a Hall of Famer.

But what they would do with that quarterback is they would have patience with that quarterback, right? Cordell Stewart, when they had Cordell Stewart and Jerome Bettis, those were their, I call those those Noel years, but they were still good, if that makes sense.

And Cordell Stewart wasn't the greatest quarterback, right? But he was good enough to where Bill Cowher put him in a situation like, okay, you're straight.

I don't even think the right tackle, Eric Williams, isn't a Hall of Famer.

Nate Newton's not, no.

Mark Stepnoski's not a Hall of Famer.

The left guy was Mark 2-and-A, or the left tackle was 2-and-A.

Newton was left.

Larry Allen, Kevin Gogan, and who else? They had Derek Kennard in there one year.

They had Dale Hallistray in there.

And lastly, I wanted to shout out friend of the program, John McClain, longtime member of the Houston Texans team.

beat reporter community radio personality you guys does it all he tweeted out yesterday that it was a privilege serving on the pro football hall of fame selection committee representing houston the oilers and texans but i was told i didn't make the cut from 50 to 28 including three non-voting members under the new bylaws among the changes no city or team will have a representative and no more individual presentations for finalists will be made.

Thank you to the Hall of Fame for having me as a small part of the process for more than three decades.

33 years.

33 years the great John McClain, a.k.a. the General, has been a part of this process, this selection committee.

It's an honor, obviously, and it will be a lot different without John.

The guy is an encyclopedia when it comes to the pro football hall of fame.

We've had them on the program every single year, basically when the Texans Ravens square off, but we just learned of these new news after the bill Belichick snub from last year.

It also is contingent on so many great things.

Because one of the things that, you know, is never, in the stat book, in the record books, as you look at Emmitt Smith's number, it's not going to tell you how many Hall of Famers he had in front of him mauling guys.

So that is that's also helpful if you're trying to be that way.

And what's going to help Derek Henry on the back end of his career is playing in a backfield with Lamar Jackson.

Now, with CJ, the hyper-analysis of him right now is just, like you said, a continuation a little bit of what can he be in big moments.
