Let's, you know, we see how those do during the season too.

Broncos, the only reason I didn't take the Broncos, uh, you know, an underdog in Kansas City, is 'cause everyone is, and it's like, you know, that worries me slightly.

It is the Chiefs, but how are they not better than, than the Chiefs? Don't, don't quite get that.

And then the Saints getting six and a half points, just, it's a lot of points for the uncertainty that's going on in Detroit.

They clearly thought that he could have played in that last preseason game, right? He practices on Monday and Tuesday, and then in my opinion, they've got to make an excuse of, well, he's gonna rest up on Wednesday now, in what was a pretty important practice.

And so he doesn't practice then, and then they're like, "Okay, c- can you start against the Broncos?" And according to them, he said no.

So at some point in time, if you go through the list of, of all of these young QBs, and I'm with you, it's clunky.

I mean, c- Caleb's first year was not good.

And I will say this, if he wanted to get traded or get out of, of here, the best thing he could have done was said, "You know what? Okay, my ankle hurts.

I'm gonna suck it up.

I'm gonna play against the Broncos.

I'm gonna play as well as I possibly can." I think when he sat out that game, that it was just another, like, message to the league.

So give me Boise State at home to pound Memphis eight and a half points.

I will, uh, take the Broncos.

What about you, Drew?

I, I'm gonna bet against Michigan.

I do think Garrett's a little better.

But regardless here, Packers lost every game after Myles Gar- or, uh, Michael Parsons went down in Denver.

Uh, also lost their amazing young tight end, their best offensive lineman at right tackle.

They had excuses, but in the s- in the games themselves, they were competitive enough.

Okay, we've got Monday Night Football, obviously a monstrous one here.

The Chiefs have some issues on offensive line, but they're still a slight favorite at home against the Broncos team, who's mad that they lost last year in the title game.

Bo Nix is back.

They're a little bit, you know, butt hurt that they don't get to open at home.

You know, if you watched Seattle on Wednesday night, you saw that they couldn't run the ball, and why? Kenneth Walker, the main reason.

He makes that first guy miss.

So I think Denver's good here, but they won every close game last year.

But obviously they're better than on Monday Night Football.

Then they go to the Broncos, go to the Eagles, have the Bills at home.

I mean, their first five games, especially with an opening loss, is a pretty good test.

A good test to sample size.

Now, can you go out there and execute in week one? And that's going to be the biggest question.

But let me ask you this.

do you feel more comfortable with this game with the Jaguars Browns in week one or would you feel more comfortable with like the Broncos Jaguars game one where it's like okay well expectations are kind of put out before you like not only do you have to go out there and beat the Browns but you kind of got to make it look good I feel like for people to be satisfied and and this is me speaking for the whole totality of it right like we can sit here and say okay Maybe it's going to be a six point game.

Maybe they're not going to call the spread.

They were trying to figure out who they were going to be identity-wise.

The Denver Broncos were the best team in the division at that point, which is happening right now.

And you didn't know where it was going to go.

And so I feel like this team right now is certainly in a similar place where as talented as Mahomes is, as great as Andy Reid is, as accomplished as Chris Jones and Travis Kelsey have been, a lot of this team's success relies on players that... we just don't know a whole lot about.

Went to Cunningham the next year, went 7-9, and then brought in Dick Vermeule and started to make changes.

But I think that's where we are on this.

I think this first season game, because it's the Broncos, a divisional game is going to go a long way towards deciding.

What kind of season they're going to have in this season is going to go a long way towards deciding whether or not there is a complete regime change or maybe at least a head coach change, if you want to put it that way.

And I know we were talking about the Longhorns, and the night before, there was a Monday Night Football game.

And I think it was the Broncos played the Giants on Monday Night Football.

Because the memory is just so etched in your mind.

And then to sit back and watch it.
