Syracuse Fans Should Feel GREAT About This... | Daily Syracuse News & Rumors

Okay, so.

I get it.

Syracuse only won by five points over Sienna and exhibition in Albany at the MVP arena on Sunday afternoon.

So you can look at it two ways.

Number one, you can look at it.

Oh my gosh.

Syracuse is in for a rough season because they only beat Sienna by five points.

Okay.

Or you can look at it, hey, listen, it was an emotional day.

They celebrated the Saints conference tournament title from last year with GMAC and all his assistants and Folifac and Doty and Goodrick.

And, you know, obviously went to the tournament, NCAA tournament, almost beat Duke in the first round.

So it was emotional for everyone.

And Siena came to play under their new head coach, Nevada Smith.

Did I get that right? Let me just make sure.

Nevada Smith.

I thought it was Nevada.

Yep, and I think he was a former assistant, I think, at Texas and Marquette with Shaka Smart.

They came to play.

They're winning for a bunch of the game.

They're winning, I believe, by one at halftime.

Syracuse certainly went on some runs to not completely put the game out of reach, obviously, and Siena clawed back, and Syracuse won by five.

It's an exhibition.

They didn't have Aiden Tobiasen.

I'm not making an excuse.

I'm just saying.
