The University of Texas at Austin

They, they only had scored three points against Ohio State going into halftime.

Um, one of the things that we need to figure out, or we, the University of Texas needs to figure out, is how to kickstart Arch, Arch into that competitive mode earlier.

That hyper competitive mode that he shows in the third and fourth quarter of the last several games, key games, we need to see more of that from Arch in the first half.

How do you get him going? I think that will be ultimately key.

Texas A&M, not UT, but Texas A&M is slashing, is destroying its woke classes.

A lot of LGBTQ ethnic studies, global warming, climate change courses, they're getting slashed, and they're not being slashed because of the free market.

They're not being slashed because of the culture and debate and changing consumer tastes.

You know, there's not a whole lot of Holly, uh, Rowes out there, uh, that do the college football and basketball and stuff.

Like, she was there for, for UT when they won.

Remember?

Mm-hmm.

Um, I also wanna ask you about something that's, um, certainly getting a lot of attention coming out of your state.

The Republican nominee for Texas Railroad Commissioner, Beau French, um, posted, uh, an image, uh, after Saturday night's University of Texas football game.

Big win, of course.

Wasn't looking good [laughs] until they came back to beat Ohio State.

It's obviously not an official term.

I don't know if the University of Texas is one of those.

I assume it's a big official university.

I'm sure it is.

But let's talk about the University of Texas, actually, in Austin.

So it has 55,000 students.

56% of them are women and only 30.2% of those are white.

So 70% of the University of Texas are non-white students.

So the School of Civic and Economic Thought and Leadership at Arizona State University was established with Paul Carice, former Madison Program Fellow, as its founding director.

Then the program at the University of Texas, originally called Civitas.

It's now the School of Civic Leadership under Justin Dyer, who'd been with us at Princeton under the auspices of our think tank in town, which is called the Witherspoon Institute.

Then, of course, the Hamilton Center, now the Hamilton School of Cultural and Civic Education at University of Florida.

So you see this little gospel of ours is spreading.

And again, the scale is much larger than what we have say at Princeton or some of the other private universities.

So you're talking about faculties at places like the Hamilton School or the University of Texas of 50 or 60 professors, tenured or tenure-track professors, and offering a range of, in some cases, majors, in some cases, minors.

University of Florida is about to inaugurate its doctoral programs under the Hamilton School.

It just, it's not deserving.

But all right, UK, uh, this weekend, is going to be faces Texas A&M.

Ugh.

[laughs] That's about all you could say.

Uh, well, exactly.

I, you look at the polls, and Alabama went up to number eight.

Texas is number nine, so basically we're facing the same...

But the, I mean, you look at it, doesn't matter if you're eight or nine.

Talk to me about that.

Uh, well, funny story, you know, with an MBA f- here from UT, uh, in some ways I'm one of the least educated people in my families, so perfect for a Blue Collar Trade Show.

Yeah.

Um, but, um, when I first, uh, announced that the company was Profit Doctor, I actually got some, uh, pushback from some folks in my family like, "You can't call yourself a doctor.

Fair enough.

Okay.

So UT, so where'd you grow up? Did you grow up here in Texas?

Well, um, I spent four years, uh, before the age of 12 living in Africa.

He's commenting on the skin pigmentation of these individuals, which, of course, would be a racist comment, even though he doesn't mention race.

Or he's commenting on an immigration system that is allowing individuals from other countries, To come here to the United States to study at the University of Texas and which, of course, is making less space for Americans.

Now, granted, this this could have been a section of the crowd who were all Americans could have been not likely seeing the demographic makeup of those being allowed to come in and study at the University of Texas from abroad.

But it could be.
