Unfortunately, sometimes that validation comes at the expense of other people's to be wrong.

So I don't even know if validation is the right word as much as like this kind of a, paranoia that begins when they think someone is devaluing their faith or disagrees with them and the church has had a history of this you know i mean we've had you know scientists and uh sorcerers killed you know the church was was was a you know afraid and that and afraid of truth of a different truth or the truth you know that may be two things that contradictions can't exist or something and um was it was it galileo we
killed the church

killed um you know and then 500 years later they get an apology which i'm sure his Great, great, great, great grandchildren.

But the fact is, is that it's really not comical because the conclusions often lead to really bad things happening to people.

And So there's this fear of truth, but it's because every truth that doesn't agree with me is a lie.

This... stool on the side of the street and it was in good condition so i cleaned it up so i got news i'm trying to work on my stand up i need to get some shoulder pads my shoulders are drooping old man jay um but i i was you know it's this constant need to uh it's almost like a paranoia as like they're out to get me and So I wanted to kind of look at that and maybe even just maybe in the past, you know, 75 years, 100 years of what that's like.

Because, I mean, if you go before that, it just gets really dark, you know, like witch trials and imprisoning people.

And what's sad to me is how often are people like, why do you hate the church? You know, why do you hate Christianity? It's like, that's, that's, that's prime example right there.

It's like, we can't, we can't look at the past, you know? I mean, I, I've talked to people who justify, you know, justify that stuff.

You know, they justify the crusades and things like that, you know? And I'm like, really? Like, it's just like, it becomes this type of apologetics, this type of defense system.

that is uh unhinged and so it's almost like a paranoia and for me this is the really uh unappealing sad part of the christian faith and i feel really uh you know it bothers me um again like if i had had if my faith was based on others or my faith was based on the community of christians or how i saw them treat each other or act to one and towards one another uh i would not be a christian i mean just pure and simple even like the a lot of my progressives you know how they treat the evangel and the evangelical treat them or the conservatives or whatever you know there's just i don't like that and maybe that's why doing online gathering has been so suited for my work because it allows me to kind of think freely and not have to be in that.

I mean, even though online you see it consistently, but when you start to see it I know, which I've seen it in human, in human form.

And I'm sure that's why a lot of you listen online or why you watch on our, our YouTube channel, because it's something that, you know, you yourself are trying to run from.

Um, so the idea of, as they're out to get me, you know, this kind of paranoia, um, the enemy is everywhere.
