Scripture Over Feelings - Judging the Charismatic Movement by Its Fruit

Two of the weapons that charismatic NAR false teachers use to great effect against the flock are, "Don't judge anything I do or say," and, "Look at all the fruit of our ministry." Well, the Bible talks about both of those things.

New Testament has a lot to say about judging, and it helps us to define what fruit is.

We need both of these and a good understanding so that we can actually use discernment, otherwise we sit back quietly, don't say a thing about anything, and false teachers continue to run rampant, pulling in gullible people into their false movements.

So we're gonna be talking about both of those things on this episode of the podcast.

This, the whole reason for this ministry that I'm doing, which is not a part of my church, this is just something I had a burden for, is to get people that are sitting in ministries wondering if what they're listening to is really right because some red flags are showing up, or they've left the charismatic movement and now they're just adrift, and they don't know what up or down even is anymore.

They're very confused.

I was there.

Many of the people that watch and listen to this podcast are there now, and I remember what that felt like.

Felt very lonely, and it just rattles your faith at every level.

And so this podcast is for people like that, people who are asking questions, and try to encourage people to ask questions because i- I can't convince somebody that what they're involved in is wrong.

Now, if God uses this to help somebody maybe ask those questions or see something's wrong, that's great, but that's not really what I'm geared for.

So I often get comments that try to go back and forth, and it's like, "I think you're missing the point.

This, this isn't for you, I guess." And that's okay.

Not for everybody.
