Indiana Hoosiers eye a statement win as they face the Michigan Wolverines at the Big House, with both teams hungry for a turnaround. Can Michigan’s offense rebound under freshman QB Tommy Carr against…
We're going to talk about the Hoosiers apparently being 100% healthy according to the availability reports.
Two of the best defenses, Isaiah, not just in the Big Ten, but in all of college football.
What in the world has happened to the Michigan offense and Bryce Underwood? Because I think the experiment might have come to an end.
I'd be hard-pressed to imagine a scenario where Bryce is starting again unless it's due to another injury situation.
That would basically kind of, I think, be it unless something just – I mean, I would say unless something clicks, but at the same time, like everything that we'd heard, Things had clicked behind the scenes in practice, but you get them out under the lights on the, you know, at stadium and main, it hasn't exactly worked against a live opponent.
So yeah, I mean, it's, it's a, it could be a completely different ball game, right? Because you saw just with Tommy car, how much things changed.
Penn state suddenly had to respect the pass as much as I saw some rival fans out there being like, Oh, who did Tommy car through 16 yards over the middle? It's like, Yeah, he did without it being picked back the safeties up and suddenly Michigan got 174 rushing yards in the second half.
So I'm excited to see not a great scenario for him to have his first start against that really nasty defensive front that Indiana, maybe the best defensive front in the country.
what are you looking forward to when it comes to that matchup of the Michigan offense against your Hoosier defense?
I mean, I think Indiana, not to disrespect Tommy Carr, but it's like, he's about to see the best defense he's ever seen in his life.
And I think Bryant Haynes, who is the reigning defensive coordinator of the year, how could you not see this as an opportunity? I think you could stress about it.
And early in the week, it was like, man, maybe Indiana has to prepare for both quarterbacks, but I just don't think that that's going to happen here.
He's getting his first big-time start, first big-time action, and he does have to go against a very aggressive Indiana defense that forced Ohio State into a couple of turnovers last week, and so that's what I'm excited for.
