That's more like the carryovers.

The only carryovers, really the only remnants of the old Jay Hill days because they were so good on special teams when Coach Hill was there.

It's actually fascinating to me also how – The Big Sky has been sort of a – there's been several guys that had great special teams reputations that then earned their first shots as head coaches in the Big Sky.

Bobby Houck, obviously, at Montana, but Jeff Choate at Montana State, Jay Hill at Weber Stadium, and all those guys were special teams gurus who then got their head coaching launching pads in the Big Sky.

So that's been a competitive part of the Big Sky landscape for a really long time, the return game and the kicking game and all that sort of stuff.

there's been some of the great players in FCS history at those specific specialist positions that have come through the league.

Yeah.

And why isn't he talking to the media? I don't want to hear from Jay Hill, which that was a good interview.

But I want to hear from the dude that's holding us back from top 10 wins, bro.

You know, if we do do a coaching, if there is a head coach change, I'm not sure Jay Hill is going to stay.

And I don't anticipate J. Hill is going to be the next head coach in Michigan.

I mean – I think they would go with somebody else.

It's just disappointing.

I mean –

They're giving up 4.1 yards per play, and number two in total defense, giving up just 250 yards a game.

I mean, Jay Hill has done an exceptional job.

For my money, he should be on the shortest of lists for the Broyles Award.

I think he has absolutely been one of the best coordinators in the country, no question about it.

I don't think he really wanted to talk about it.

I kind of put him on the spot, but it's very clear that something is off, and it kind of really feels a lot like that 2020 season when which I understand was an asterisk season and you had guys not practicing and stuff like that, but there wasn't the buy-in that you needed to be successful here at Michigan.

They said, well, he'd just be a stopgap.

That was assuming that he was still somewhat the same guy that we'd seen leading Utah to good seasons in his prime, but he's nothing close to that at this point, it feels like.

You can give him credit for his defense, and he's a defensive-minded coach, and he brought Jay Hill here with him.

But this time around, I'm telling you, Bill, we've already heard that there are good young coaches that would be very interested.

He is a really talented wide receiver.

And I can't wait to see how the secondary and how Jay Hill figures ways to stop KJ Duff.
