Masjid Al Falaah - 25th October 2026 - 'The Great Fajr Campaign' with Mufti Adam

Now, I'm going to share with you something different today, and that is, if you've been following the news of al-Masjid al-Aqsa in Palestine, just two days ago, on the day of Jumu'ah, the Khatib of Jumu'ah, he delivered a khutbah.

And subsequently, he was arrested on his way out from al-Masjid al-Aqsa, immediately after the Jumu'ah Salah.

After some questioning, interrogation, he was released, but he's been banned from Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa for one week.

Tuesday is the election, so Allah knows what the intention is.

Unfortunately, when things like this happen, one week means that at the end of one week, they usually get banned for another six months.

And then after six months, another six months, and then this becomes continuous.

May Allah not make that happen with this particular Shaykh.

I'm just sharing with you what's very normal over there with hundreds of people that have banning orders, restrained orders on them.

Who are imams, khatibs, muallimeen, muallimat, murabiteen.

There is no shortage of people.

And one by one, each person has been targeted.

Anyone active for the cause of al-Masjid al-Aqsa.

Not in any kind of violent capacity.

We're not talking about fighting or attacking or shooting.

None of that.

Just encouraging people.

And you'll see.

Like, tell me, why was he arrested? I'm going to share with you, not everything, but the main points from his talk.

I'm going to share it with you directly rather than me trying to paraphrase it.

So these are those parts of the khutbah which are related to al-Masjid al-Aqsa.

The other main topic of his was ribat in Masjid al-Aqsa and the third main topic of his were the olive trees inside al-Masjid al-Aqsa.

Rest of it was general.

But this is, you would say, was related to al-Masjid al-Aqsa.

You can tell me, was this a reason for him to be arrested? Allah knows best.

Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim.
