We did talk about this well in advance, Hale, because, you know, once you think you've got things figured out in the ACC, well, a little bit of coastal chaos gets sprinkled into the mix, and we have no idea how to predict what is happening in this conference.

Florida State upsets Virginia, NC State upsets Louisville, and yeah, we're back to the ACC wheel of destiny days, Hale.

So let's talk about some of these teams that maybe we've changed our opinions on after just a couple of weeks.

I mean, let's start with Louisville.

I, I believe on this show three weeks ago we were debating whether this was a team that was going to make the CFP, and I said, "Let's see what happens against Wake Forest." But it's not just Wake Forest.

It's now two losses, uh, because of the NC State loss.

They're now two and three, Hale.

Mm-hmm.

What, what is happening? What do we think about Louisville now?

Uh, you know, first of all-

... um, I would like to point out that we're never wrong.

We've never been wrong on this show.

We do reserve the right to change our minds, so that is-

We are strictly, we're evolving as thinkers right now.

[laughs]

Um, look, I, I... it's not that I walked away feeling, like, super confident after the SMU game that Louisville was gonna be the second-best team in the ACC and go play Miami for an ACC championship and make the playoff.

I just thought all of those things were clearly within the realm of possibility because I respect Jeff Brohm as a head coach.

Lincoln Kienholz has been a rev- revelation as a, a performer on offense for them and running the show.

They've got a ton of weapons.

Um, what I negated was the fact that this defense is [laughs] downright bad at times.

But also, like, I mean, the NC State game is a perfect example of, like, they'd gone the first f- month of the season with one turnover.
