Look, things like this can tend to be maybe blown up a little bit, but I feel like Mike Norvell threw his quarterback under the bus today.

He basically boiled down the lawsuit.

It seems to me I would define like a good, successful college football coach or program as this.

If you're going to be a good, consistent program, you better be one of these two.

If you're neither of these two, which I'm starting to think Mike Norvell is, you're screwed.

You better either be a good quarterback evaluator.

This would have gotten him off to a really good start, wouldn't it?

Yeah, it's either him or Mike Norvell.

I really don't know who's probably Mike Norvell would get fired first.

But yeah, this would have definitely helped his case, especially Big 12's not as strong as the SEC.

And this would have been maybe gave him another year if he won this game.

I think going back to last season, at the end of last season when they decided to retain Mike Norvell and give it another shot this year, everybody had their opinions on that.

There are certainly plenty of people that were in your camp and Jeff's camp and Corey's camp and a lot of other people that felt like they should – They should have fired Mike Norvell after the Stanford game, and you can make that case.

I understood why they wanted to give it another try and try to avoid spending that $40 million or $50, $60 million and try to fix it, try to give him an opportunity to fix it.

And that's the path they went.

And there's really no way to expect that they're going to come out of this.

So to me, it seems very clear that they're going to end up having to make a change.

They're going to have to make a change in Mike Norvell.

And this is not about Deion Sanders being a good coach or a bad coach.

This is about Deion Sanders going, you know what? Man, he should move to Florida State if it doesn't work out with Mike Norvell.

I'm like, oh, my God, really? We're back on that? Last season, Colorado was abysmal.

They were abysmal.

They probably have the most money if push comes to shove.

But to your point, and I know people in Tallahassee, too, and I've talked to them, the spigot's been shut off on Norvell.

They have fewer people, and they've decided we're not giving this guy any more money.

So I think they've got a clean house, Lee, and we'll talk about that later on in the year.

But I don't think it's just a Norvell problem.

I think it's an athletic director problem.

And this is like what we used to talk about with, you know, Pat Kerwin always said with pro sports, you need an owner, a coach, and a quarterback.

I thought Florida State was going to win that, but that was a good win from SMU.

That just tells you Mike Norvell's past couple years at Florida State.

The excitement's there for this season, and then you can't even get the game kicked
