I think in all those cases, you're like, oh, right now, like right away, like no matter what they've got, what they inherited, what they brought in, like really impressed by by Chesney and certainly impressed by what what Jake Dickert and his staff been able to do with with certainly limited resources compared to the best of the best in the ACC.

I think the two sort of standout coaching performances for guys who could really be attractive candidates in this carousel were Dickert and Spencer Danielson.

Let's talk about Wake Forest being a little.

And I want to start here, Dalton.

Jake Dickert is a stud.

He is a stud at head coach for Wake Forest because before he got hired, the Demon Deacons were 4-8 in back-to-back seasons.

He gets hired.

And then starting off this year, Dalton, you played really close to one of the best teams in the country to Miami, losing by multiple scores, but still playing a lot closer than people thought you would.

And then you just beat a top-20 team in Louisville on the road, no less either.

Jake Dickert, what he's done, Dalton, a 12-5 record for him right now at Wake Forest, again, after... an 8-16 record for Wake Forest than two years before he got hired.

Jake Dicker, what he's doing in that program is insane stuff.

Two things were true at once during Wake's upset of the Louisville Cardinals.

Number one, Demon Deacons coach Jake Dickert has done a fabulous job in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, the city that yours truly calls home.

It's year two for him at Wake.

He has a 12-5 record.

This is something he experienced at Washington State, preparing him well for what he's seeing at the ACC level.

I mean, find a handful of wins that are left on Washington's schedule if you're just basing it off what you've seen out of the Huskies so far this year.

Dickert is somebody that is one hell of a good coach, one at Washington State.

I shot him out every week, played Miami as tough as anybody not long ago, and then got the win at Louisville.

They just looked pretty ferocious defensively and put up enough points offensively.

And Wake's kind of a surprise.

And Dickert is making good money offensively.

But if I'm somebody out there, I think he's absolutely fantastic.

And we'll see how long he stays in Winston-Salem.

We'll figure that out, but it could be Wake Forest.

Jake Dickert, like, to be able to beat Purdue a couple weeks ago when Purdue gave you your best shot and you kind of messed around with it, you still found a way to win.

You scared Miami a little bit, which is why, like, You don't have a bad loss.

Oh, then you beat Louisville.

hell yeah.

Nice.

Yeah, they're just like, what are we going to do out here? I don't know where Jake Dickert's going to go.

I don't think he's going to be at Wake Forest next year.

But I was super impressed with Wake Forest.

I'm always impressed with Dickert and the guys – his teams.

I'm just impressed with the way – listen – It's so much fun to watch coaches that, first of all, when you watch guys that compete their aces off, that's number one.

Also, when you put guys in a position to succeed, that doesn't mean they always succeed.
