Will Stein goes for back to back two point conversions and back to back games confident in his ability.

And they win both games on two point conversions against South Carolina and in the following week against LSU.

And that's a first year head coach who coming into what this last week was six and one.

Like that, that's a direct comparison to another guy who was a former OC who's in his first year at a power for school and his first head coaching opportunity.

It's more like the Cliff Kingsbury kind of.

And Georgia Tech two years ago put up 42 on the Bulldogs.

I don't know why, but they cannot play at home right now, so it's got to be a trend.

Another thing that I think is an interesting factor in this game, Jeff Ulbrich defensive coordinator for the Falcons, Zach Robinson, OC for the bucks.

They worked together last year.

I mean, all the press conferences I've seen this week, it seems like the players are in a good headspace, but I also felt like that the past seven games, and we've seen up and down play, and Honestly, some bad play for the most part.

So this will be the first game where Jay Johnson will be the new OC and play caller, taking over for Drew Marringer, who was dismissed this past Sunday.

Honestly, don't really think I have any history of watching him at any of his previous stops.

I think he was an offensive coordinator at Minnesota or Michigan or another Big Ten school, but don't really know too much about him, so don't know what to expect.

And I think that this Northwestern offense might just pose the biggest challenge that they've seen since Oklahoma State.

No, since USC, for sure.

But they just run a variety of things with Chip Kelly as OC.

And I know Chip Kelly is... eager to get into Autzen and get a win because I think his only win against Oregon, whether it was head coaching at UCLA or coordinator play, was the Rose Bowl when he just cooked the defense with doing whatever he wanted.

But, boy, Northwestern, Minnesota, and Wisconsin have really come on these last couple of weeks.

Yeah, Northwestern, and I think it's the biggest surprise in the Big Ten, if not the country, at 6-1 and 3-1 in a big clash today going to Oregon with Chip Kelly making his return to Oregon as offensive coordinator, not only at OC at Northwestern, but a big, big-time candidate for the Broyles Award for the Assistant Coach of the Year with what he's done to the offense.

Northwestern is... third overall in the Big Ten in offense, second in rushing.

They're a physical team.
