And I pulled it manually from Dynasty Daddy where you can see the overall trades per month.
And I haven't pulled the latest data, I need to, but I don't think we'd find too much of a difference in the trend that we were seeing.
And you could see over those two years, there's very noticeable, you know, lulls and very noticeable peaks, you know, over time.
And it's, you know, it's pretty obvious, like where those happen, but there's two real big peak, I'm sorry, two real big dips.
One of those is in December to February, which makes a lot of sense, right? Because you are basically the season has ended, at least for fantasy purposes.
Now that one's a little bit harder to explain other than the fact that we've went through, you know, rookie season, you've done your drafts, you've seen the NFL draft, all that good stuff.
And then people are just kind of like waiting for things to shake out a little bit more and, you know, rookie mini camp and those kinds of things.
But there's real, no other explanation that I can come up with why it dips so heavily and then starts to pick back up in August, September, other than the fact that we are literally closer to the season.
So, but I did want to throw it out there because, we obviously were being impacted mentally by that like it was like oh is there you know sometimes you're going to think to yourself if you're just not getting anything done is it me you know and maybe there is an element of that and it's fine to kind of like you know work on that but put into context when what part of the year are you in? And understand that there are just literal lulls that you can't do anything about and that activity will come back around.
I'm just saying mentally, as silly as it is, you're playing this game year long, that kind of shit can weigh on you.
There are just actual trends when there are more trades and periods where there are less trades and less trade activity.
So I think that's what we were just going through and what we were experiencing.
So I'm going to try to keep that in the back of my head and I'm going to try to shout that out next year when this inevitably comes around again.
