You know, they had a early round exit, uh, the Texans last year.

Yeah.

Um, so I'm, I'm thinking David Montgomery's gonna have a, have a, have a big year this year.

Um, and he's kinda getting broken up against, uh, away from, uh, Ja- Jahmyr Gibbs, obviously.

How are you looking on third down? Are you picking up those third and fours you get in their territory, or are you gonna have to make those tough fourth down decisions or rely on long field goals by Fairbairn? Your thoughts on the Texans' ability to run it against the Bills.

Well, first of all, with David Montgomery coming in to Woody Bard's, going into his second year, they've got the running backs.

The key is the offensive line.

You have a new center, you have a new left guard, and you have those three returning starters.

Rebooting again, and if you look at the, the lineup around him, the erstwhile Dalton Schultz, who I think just narrowly misses out on Props list usually most years, but an honorable mention.

Um, David Montgomery, of course, the, uh, the, the big news there.

Nico Collins, his go-to guy.

Uh, Tank Dell still banged up.

The Bills traditionally not a great rush defense.

Pretty poor actually last season, and that was their biggest weakness.

Can David Montgomery get it going on the ground? If we see that style of Houston Texans offense, where it doesn't rely on C.J.

Stroud throwing it deep to Nico Collins and making explosive plays, then I think C.J. Stroud's got a long-term future in this league.

I imagine him to be a great option for Daniel Jones and the Indianapolis Colts.

David Montgomery, the bell cow now, or at least the featured back in that Houston Texans backfield.

And then the Eagles against the Commanders.

Dave, I don't know about you, I know a lot of people will look towards the Chargers potentially against the Cardinals, but I think the Eagles, a great spot against what has sounded like and looked like a very beleaguered Washington Commander offense.

James Cook, of course, coming off a great year.

And then on the flip side, what will we see from C.J. Stroud? Does he have to do really anything more than be average with this defense, as elite as it is? Uh, you do get David Montgomery there, the, the new featured back.

Uh, Tank Dell, unfortunately, on IR.

Uh, but a healthy dose of Nico Collins going the other way.

But I think the way the Texans' defense was playing at the end of last year, the fact that they got better moving into this year, the offensive line has improved.

They added David Montgomery in the backfield.

Yeah, losing Higgins is a tough blow in the wide receiver core, but they still got talent there.

I mean, I don't know.

I think they want to play smash mouth football.

They don't want to spread it out too much.

They got now a couple of running backs that I think that can do the job when Woody Marks and David Montgomery.

I think they're super talented.

Bills at DJ Moore as their new number one wideout.

Texans turn to David Montgomery, their new starting running back.

Bills, one and a half point favorites on the road.

This is really a great matchup.

You know, we talked about the old guys to start this with San Francisco.

I don't know how durable David Montgomery is going to be in week 16, 17, 18.

But he will be this week, and I'm interested to see if the Buffalo Bills have figured out how to stop a running game.
