So Rice is coming off of a performance where he had two targets, two catches, 19 yards, and 13 of those yards came after the catch for his touchdown.

So, you know, you take that play away, it's a nothing night for Rashee Rice.

But I actually like him enough to be a top 10, maybe even a top five wide receiver this week in fantasy, and the reason why is because they're playing the Indianapolis Colts.

And since the Colts traded for Sauce Gardner, they have run man coverage the fifth most of any team in the NFL.

Uh, Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid, these guys understand when you play man against them, if it's not Sauce Gardner who is guarding Rashee Rice, the rest of the Colts secondary has not been great at those assignments.

So the guys we would be expecting to be benefiting from this, I mentioned before, but both Vikings wide receivers, Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison set up well.

Chiefs versus the Colts, I don't think man coverage is a great thing for Rashee Rice.

Honestly, I will be placing a one-unit wager, going crazy, guys, on Tyquan Thornton's receiving yards over here on Sunday Night Football, so get ready for that one.

This is a situation where the Colts are so man heavy that I'm just worried about Rashee Rice actively getting some of the screens, the low ADOT sort of opportunities that usually he feasts on against zone coverage.

I feel like I, I didn't go hot enough, because you've got Parker Washington as a top five receiver.

I, I thought Rashee Rice as a top 10 wide receiver-

... would be hot enough, but whether it's 10, five, whatever it is for Rashee Rice, I, I think that he is going to go off this upcoming week.

I think it's a much busier day for Rice because the Chiefs are going up against a Colts team that is trying to play a lot of man coverage, but outside of Sauce Gardner, the players that they're asking to play man coverage are not playing it well.

So if he's matched up against Sauce, okay, it could be a tougher day for him, but man, any time that he's going to get those non-Sauce Gardner match-ups, I think Rashee Rice is going to be that receiver that they go to to beat that man coverage.

But our Mason Thomas had a very, very good one-on-one kind of play.

We say contract year is undefeated, and we had a lot of those conversations on the offensive side of the ball about Rasheed Rice.

It's also a contract year for Felix Anyudike Uzama.

First round pick, the Chiefs have made the decision to not pick up his fifth-year option.

I'm not surprised that you were a little bit rusty, where I maybe am a little bit critical of the wide receivers in terms of how they use the wide receivers, how they looked.

It looked like all the same complaints that we've had about the wide receivers over the last two seasons.

How they used Rasheed Rice didn't really look that different to me.

Xavier Worthy and what they wanted him to be didn't really look that different.

There was nothing there from the running backs, nothing there from the wide receivers, and a very subpar game for Bo Nix.

On the other side, Rasheed Rice, who I am an owner of, and was in an odd spot for me.

And some of the rest of you emailed me about this after your draft saying the back end of the second round and the front end of the third round was a tough spot for you to draft because it was clearly a drop off in the quality of player available, but you weren't sure that using a late second or an early third was what the, the draft capital you were investing was worth the players available.

So I felt that way and took Rice almost by default when I selected him with the sixth pick in round three.

I was hopeful to get a healthy, effective return to glory Patrick Mahomes and a true wide receiver one in a big-time offense that I knew was was going to feature Ken Walker more than any other running back since Mahomes became quarterback of Kansas City.

First time he touched the ball on Monday night, he bounced off two Denver Broncos and went into the end zone for a touchdown and punted the ball into the stands.

He had one catch later on that was for, I don't know, a handful of yards.

I think it may have gotten them a first down.

Came down to the Monday night.

It was Waddle versus Rashi Rice.

And let's just say, well, things did not go good for Jalen Waddle.

Things did not just go good for him.

Neither player was doing anything wrong.

In fact, Nick texted me and he was like, this was brutal.

About three minutes later, Rashi Rice scored a touchdown.

Now, was this the Italian Stallion's attempt at a reverse jinx? I don't think so.
