RJ Harvey had three carries.
Sayre BengerSOUNDBITE_SPEAKER
14:46
Jonah Coleman only played three snaps in garbage time.
Sayre BengerSOUNDBITE_SPEAKER
14:50
That strategy is garbage for Davis Webb and the Denver Broncos who need to establish the run.
Sayre BengerSOUNDBITE_SPEAKER
14:55
They need to figure out a way.
Sayre BengerSOUNDBITE_SPEAKER
15:13
Give the ball over to J.K. Dobbins.
Sayre BengerSOUNDBITE_SPEAKER

Give it to R.J. Harvey.
Sayre BengerSOUNDBITE_SPEAKER

Give it to Jonah Coleman.
Sayre BengerSOUNDBITE_SPEAKER

Let those guys break tackles.

the 605.
Nick FergusonHOST
11:56
Love to see them get Jonah Coleman.
Benjamin AllbrightHOST
12:03
involved in a big way and you know if RJ Harvey can't go I think you just might see that
Nick FergusonHOST
12:08
well you have no choice because now that means Jonah Coleman could be more involved in offense and you know your best friend Tyler Bidet will be elevated too as well
Benjamin AllbrightHOST
12:19
No, don't, no.
Nick FergusonHOST
12:20
Catching on third down.
Benjamin AllbrightHOST

Limited today, didn't practice yesterday.
Benjamin AllbrightHOST
16:57
Jonah Coleman? Might be, J.C.
Benjamin AllbrightHOST
16:59
Time, just saying.
Benjamin AllbrightHOST
17:00
J.C. Time.
Zach KelbermanHOST
36:31
They couldn't go deep because Bo Nix had no time to throw, but they traded for Waddell, didn't really get him the ball.
Zach KelbermanHOST
36:37
They drafted Jonah Coleman.
Zach KelbermanHOST

Welcome back to the family.
Chad JensenHOST

Todd says, a dear member, something positive to look forward to.
Chad JensenHOST
50:02
will be Jonah Coleman getting some carries.
Chad JensenHOST
50:04
Let's hope.
KyleHOST
14:26
So just if Black is out there, Algier, Mike Washington, Chris Rodriguez, those guys are priorities for me.
KyleHOST
14:32
I do think Jonah Coleman will get some run at some point this season.
KyleHOST
14:35
Emmitt Johnston is like a must pick up guy.
KyleHOST
14:38
If they're going to continue to give Kenneth Walker as much touches as they're giving him, Emmett Johnston, one of the most valuable handcuffs in the league.
Chris WelshHOST
23:51
That's significant.
Chris WelshHOST
23:52
I mean, it's not significant enough in that it was Monday so this could be, like, their Tuesday, but it's significant enough to monitor because Jonah Coleman got a nothing burger.
Chris WelshHOST
24:02
And if RJ Harvey were to miss time, I, I, I think we've said this in a...
Chris WelshHOST
24:07
Well, uh, this is interesting because we actually thought that Jonah Coleman would be more of the replacement to JK Dobbins and that RJ Harvey's role doesn't change.
Chris WelshHOST
24:15
But what happens if Harvey is out? If they put Jonah Coleman into that spot, when people are saying, "Hey, are we concerned?" Whether you're concerned or not, I would make no moves.
Chris WelshHOST
24:25
I would still be in on Jonah Coleman.
Chris WelshHOST
24:27
The idea of getting Jonah Coleman was never about week one, two, three, or four, or five.
Chris WelshHOST
24:30
It was about week six, seven, eight, that range where JK Dobbins is probably hurt.
Alfredo BrownHOST
16:24
A lot of that came off of one run where he was able to break free for a little bit, but this offense could also just get game scripted into needing to pass more.
Alfredo BrownHOST
16:35
This was also in a week one where we saw no Jonah Coleman.
Alfredo BrownHOST
16:39
RJ Harvey simply looked better than J.K. Dobbins as a rusher in week one.
Alfredo BrownHOST
16:43
He looked better in the passing game.
Alfredo BrownHOST
16:46
J.K. Dobbins got his zero targets.
Alfredo BrownHOST
16:48
And what happens if we get into week two and all of a sudden we see Jonah Coleman and he's out there making a couple of plays here and there? Maybe not a big volume out of the backfield, but if he gets two to three touches and he looks good on those, all of a sudden we're getting really worried this should have been a best case scenario for jk dobbins starting being the rb1 getting his touches out of the backfield and he just simply didn't look good that's worrisome for me without the rookie being involved without rj harvey really getting a lot of carries either so jk dobbins is a guy i'm not taking that risk going up against the jaguars this week who allowed the second lowest explosive run rate all those bad stats i listed for quinshawn judkins that was the jaguars defense who did that i'm just you can see that the trend here right it's a lot of these running backs that are not making explosive plays i don't want to trust them going up against tough defenses and especially if their offenses simply aren't good speaking of running backs and bad offenses who are not making explosive plays Tony Pollard, running back for the Tennessee Titans.
Alfredo BrownHOST
17:48
He is my running back 35 this week.
Alfredo BrownHOST
17:50
I did a study earlier in the offseason, like way earlier.
Chris WelshHOST
24:41
That's significant.
Chris WelshHOST
24:42
I mean, it's not significant enough in that it was Monday, so this could be like their Tuesday, but it's significant enough to monitor because Jonah Coleman got a nothing burger.
Chris WelshHOST
24:52
And if RJ Harvey were to miss time...
Chris WelshHOST
24:56
I think we've said this in a – well, this is interesting because we actually thought that Jonah Coleman would be more of the replacement to J.K. Dobbins and that R.J. Harvey's role doesn't change.
Chris WelshHOST
25:05
But what happens if Harvey is out? If they put Jonah Coleman into that spot, when people are saying, hey, are we concerned? Whether you're concerned or not, I would make no moves.
Chris WelshHOST
25:15
I would still be in on Jonah Coleman.
Chris WelshHOST

Chris WelshHOST

Tanner HendricksonPANELIST

And they've got a rookie in
Brandon KileyHOST
29:06
Jonah Coleman, who I think actually might be better than...
Tanner HendricksonPANELIST
29:09
But I would lean Jaguars just because their order of operations look better.
Tanner HendricksonPANELIST
29:12
The offense I would bet on, like Alex was saying, for the Broncos.
Eric BalkmanHOST
35:32
Limited practice for DeAndre Swift.
Eric BalkmanHOST
35:35
No practice for R.J. Harvey today, so that could be big for J.K. Dobbins and potentially Jonah Coleman.
Eric BalkmanHOST
35:41
Moving on to the other receivers, Zay Flowers, no practice today.
Eric BalkmanHOST
35:45
So that's another significant development.
