Let's get right off on the subject with Proverbs chapter 1, verses 1 through 4, and then verse 7.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.
Fools despise wisdom and instruction.

We got two or three of them.
The city in question is Raleigh, North Carolina, where an estimated 5,000 to 8,000 teens swarmed the Glenwood South Entertainment District and Briar Creek areas during the Fourth of July weekend.
The massive coordinated teen takeovers resulted in multiple fights, property damage, and shootings that left nine people injured.
Police reported that the crowds overwhelmed the areas and took hours to control, leading to several arrests.
Similar smaller-scale gatherings and brawls were also reported in other U.S. cities over the same weekend, including Newport Beach, California, and North Charleston, South Carolina.
Then in August, if we're going to move a little closer to today's date, August 16th, Now, it's interesting.
This was not widely broadcasted on the mainstream media.
So sometimes I think they are trying to protect children or whatever.
But whatever the case is, I am reminded of two scriptures.
One is about the general condition of this present evil age.
They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice.
They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness.
They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents.
Disobedient to parents is a common characteristic of the fallen world we are in, and Paul wrote that 2,000 years ago, more or less.
Well, it's a societal issue, but it's rooted in a spiritual issue.
Yes, directly rooted there.
Then there's another passage which says disobedience to parents is a behavioral characteristic of the last days.
