(Maybe) He’s Born With It

I feel like my instinct was to say the Rangers, but then I looked at our records against the Rangers and the White Sox this season.

The Rangers won four out of six games against us.

And then we played the White Sox more, obviously.

So it was seven games to the White Sox, six games to the guards.

So like, in a way, I do feel like playing the White Sox, it's like you're playing the devil that you know.

And like, we're also kind of like riding a high where we had, you know, like, a Rokia walk-off, Petey helping, huge home run against them, that it's like, I don't know.

I almost would rather see the White Sox, but maybe that's a hot take.

I don't know.

If it's a hot take, then I'm right there with you.

I just think that would be such a cinematic series, not even just for us.

I feel like that's just like something that you want to watch.

Like that's good baseball.

Like bias aside, I think, you know, having these two teams that have always, you know, like you said, seven to them, six to us, whichever way, like we play very well against each other.

I think we're very similar teams.

And I think that that kind of playoff picture would just be, it'd be too good to not want that.

I'm not really sure what I want.

I'm the one who asked the question.

The White Sox would technically be the sixth seed, I guess, and the Rangers would be three, which surprises me.

I guess I just haven't paid attention to the Rangers very much, and that's on me.

But I don't know.

I feel like I don't want to see the White Sox again because we've played them so recently.

And we did depend on some... heroics to win those games the you know the rocchio walk-off was probably one of the funnier things i've ever seen and uh you know that that's the quintessential guards ball that everybody's always bitching about So I don't know.

I'm a little scared that it's like the White Sox are doing a bit of a halftime adjustment.

We saw them really recently for a few games.

Now we are aware of where we need to adjust.
