I don't actually watch the Guardians, if I can avoid it.

But I do feel like every time I check in on their games, it's Brian Rocchio has like two big hits for them.

But also his OPS is always 687.

Last week, I think I talked about it, there was an afternoon Guardians White Sox game that was on.

And they kept talking about how clutch Brian Rocchio was.

And he's apparently extremely hot in September.

Manuel Martinez, he's up to 17 home runs.

Brian Rocchio is moving the line a little bit more than he has in the past.

And for the Red Sox post All-Star break, they've been the number one scoring team in the American League.

Now, they've been hitting the fritz a little bit more despite the fact that they bring back Roman Anthony, Isaias Quinonez, Falaffa off the injury list as they've been dealing with Willsey Contreras being in and out of the line up here recently.

The Guardian series in Cleveland last week was frustrating beyond belief.

The fact that Grant Taylor gave up a bloop to Brian Rocchio that cost the White Sox that game.

And then...

The Sox had a one-run lead, and I'm more mad about that Tuesday night than I am about that Wednesday night.

All of that is still out there and on the table for this team.

And this is something that, you know, with injury concerns that they have with Brian Rocchio, Chase DeLauder, with wanting to make sure you've got your rotation lined up the way you want it to start a postseason run.

I would feel, if I were the Guardians, I would feel a lot more comfortable starting Gavin Williams, Parker Messick in games one and two than Tanner Bybee or Foster Griffin or some combination of Joey Cantillo at some point.

You've got to think that that's in the back of their minds as well.

And the most important part, I would say, what those guys brought to – It's the fact that it's allowed the manager, Steven Vogt, to give us a lineup and kind of be able to stick to it for the most part.

We've bounced lineups and guys up and down the batting order all year and ever since this trade it's been allowed us to finally let guys get settled in because the one guy i want to bring up as much as we would you mentioned jose who's the easy guy to mention uh stephen kwan an all-star multi-time gold club uh winning outfielder uh not the biggest guy but just hustles his ass off lots of outfield assists too for for a guy his size but the guy to think about that that it's going to surprise you guys is brian rocchio our shortstop So Brian Rocchio leads the Guardians in RBIs with 70.

Where does he bat in the lineup? He's batting ninth.

Now, you would think that means the rest of the lineup is stacked, and that is absolutely not the case.

They're down to their last out.

Brian Rocchio is at the plate.

He goes down 0-2.

They're one strike away from losing this game.

You know, they've had two... brutal losses in this last week.

I mean, that game against Cleveland, Brian Rocchio hitting the ball down the line for the walk-off win.

And then what was it? 8-2, they had a lead over the Tigers on Friday, and they blow that lead.

Just brutal at this point.

And I think he's someone that's going to give you some county stats as well, batting near the top or toward the, or like third or fourth and the Giants lineup.

Brian Rocchio, he is ending the year the way he started it.

On freaking fire.

We all know about how hot of a start he got.
