It's late in the year, two teams playing out the string.

Yankees, Twins, Max Freed, Bailey Ober.

Braves, Cubs, Martín Pérez, Kevin Gausman.

Giants, Cardinals, Blade Tidwell and Andr- uh, André Pallante.

Hmm.

But time is certainly ticking for all the teams below, like the Detroit Tigers, the Minnesota Twins, and the Seattle Mariners.

How do you wanna go about this? Do you wanna go team by team, or do you wanna do a focus on the teams just looking in?

Um, I, I...

But we always see it.

Sometimes these fru- like these, these teams that you love the match up, then you get to the final stretch, they have a winnable game and they don't win it.

For the Rangers, it's three against the Red Sox, three against Toronto, three against New York, and three in Minnesota.

I definitely would rather have the Astros draw, but that doesn't really matter with these teams at the same time.

Um, they won't even let him play second because Correa's gonna play second now, because they have no faith in Isiah Paredes doing that.

Um, I mean, sure, like, if you convince Correa to move back to short, that, that's great, but, like, he, he's, he is on record saying, like, "I have been wanting to move off of shortstop for a while." When he was with the Twins, the Twins had, um, I think it was Brooks Lee, um, the s- the big shortstop prospect, and essentially Correa said, if Brooks Lee had developed line...

He didn't say this out loud, but what he insinuated was if the guy in, if that, if Brooks Lee would've developed linearly and would've been ready for the majors, uh, he was ready to move off of shortstop with the Twins.

Um, so this is something he had been eyeing, was moving to third base.

So, with that in the forefront of your mind, like, you can trade Jeremy Peña, but just I, I, I don't know who you're gonna play at shortstop.

All right, so let, let's talk about the elephant in the rule, in the room, if you will.

Um, the Yankees beat the Twins.

Yankees always beat the Twins.

Uh, since 2002, their winning percentage is such that if you apply that winning percentage over a hundred and sixty-two game season, the Yankees will win 118 games.

It's, it's unbelievable how they own them.

But we start off, um, with baseball.

Uh, and, and what we'll do is we'll obviously give credit to the Yankees making the postseason, uh, with their victory last night over the Minnesota Twins.

So it's sixty-one years of making the postseason for the New York Yankees, and that's the most of any team in baseball.

The Dodgers clinched yesterday as well, and, uh, the Brooklyn and the LA Dodgers have made the postseason s-- uh, forty times.

There'll be more boos for David Stearns, more cheers for Pete Alonso.
