I'm not even sure where to start with the breakdown of this game if it's Josh Allen picking up where he left off against a depleted Detroit defense, or the Bills maybe getting a breath of fresh air knowing that Detroit Lions will go into this game down three of their projected five starters along the offensive line when this team came to camp.
So let's start with Josh Allen because that was all of the hubbub this past week, scoring 36, looking explosive, that Joe Brady offense really taking off.
And then you kind of match it with what the Lions showed defensively, at least early on.
They had an ability to stop the run, despite playing some lighter boxes, held the Saints to a 0% rushing success rate on the early runs in the first half.
Once the Saints kind of opened it up, the Lions allowed a 50% success rate in the air the final three quarters in overtime, and were probably pretty fortunate to come away with a win there.
But when you think about some of the guys they lost back there, right? It was Terryon Arnold before the season.
