Uh, one of the things that I did that I'm, I'm, I'm kind of fond of was, um, uh, the first time we saw the Borg, uh, each of their cubicles had a, had a, um, a, a display screen behind, uh, behind the, behind the drone.

And I wanted to show that they were very different from what we had s- we had seen for, from o- other cultures.

And, uh, so this year we really doubled down on the Borg.

We did two core episodes about the idea of the Borg, the science behind the Borg, cultural analysis of the Borg.

Questions like, is the Borg Queen a goddess, and if so, what sort of goddess? Um, w- we were just chatting beforehand, uh, [laughs] on, on the question, did we go overboard on the Borg or over Borg on the Borg? And I, I'm arguing no.

Did we go overboard on the core Borg lore?

[laughs] No.

I, I would argue you can't do that.

It's a, it's a holy time.

But really, I would stay away from it.

Yeah, you've got to watch the Borg

stuff.

Sure.

Oh, you know, I recently watched First Contact, which I've heard people say is like kind of the sneaky great Star Trek movie, and I loved it.

Sure.

Well, whatever it is, it seems to be giving off two distinct energy patterns that appear to have... merged.

One of them looks like it's part of a Borg sphere.

And the other appears to be similar to the Crystalline entity first encountered by the USS Enterprise in 2368.

How do you know that, sir? I like to read.

agree.

It does seem similar.

Could we by any chance be worried about the Borg sphere? Unlikely.

There are no Borg life signs.

Sexuality is particularly complex.

As Borg, we had no need for seduction, no time for single-cell fertilization.
