there was a couple games he missed here and there so they were kind of resetting his progress a little bit as they were trying to salvage a basically losing season we ended up about 500 but basically the season was lost once we were out of playoff contention or those playoff chances were looking very very slim and as a result our running game suffered so much you would look at how aaron jones's stats were his first year in minnesota to last year and it's night and day as far as the aaron jones that we saw in those two seasons one season he was absolutely tearing it up one of the best running backs in the NFC and definitely in the division one of them Jameer Gibbs is still in that division of course and then you also have the last season where he was barely averaging anything of significance for the Minnesota Vikings especially in fantasy relevance if you had him in fantasy it was not very pretty and just overall in general the running attack was not pretty at all for Minnesota Despite having Jordan Mason and Aaron Jones in there, Xavier Scott, even though it was in garbage time when he was getting opportunities, ended up being one of our most efficient running backs, which is mind-blowing to say because now he's on the practice squad.

But having Christian Derrissaw back, having a healthy offensive line in general, it's not just Derrissaw from last year.

We didn't have Ryan Kelly for a lot of the year.

You can't have that at all.

So now Minnesota is looking to reestablish that.

And that's going to go a big way in the way of Aaron Jones and Derrissaw being back on the field to help him get back to the form that we saw Aaron Jones when he first got to Minnesota.

And Aaron Jones also spoke on having Christian Derrissaw back saying it's been very important.

Because that was the thing with Josh Jacobs.

That was the thing with Aaron Jones.
