S2026 Ep22: The Errand of the Prophetic (Propheticology PT5)

Today I'm speaking on the errand of the prophetic.

We are still in the series on the prophetic ministry, propheticology.

Today is part five of propheticology, but the topic is the errand of the prophetic.

And last week we looked at the sixth spiritual sense, the sense of knowing, and that brought to an end the mini-series on the spiritual senses, the seeing, eye, hearing, ear, understanding, heart.

Now, when we talk about the errand of the prophetic, we all know when you say you are running errands, you are being sent on an errand.

So, when I say the errand of the prophetic, I'm trying to say the assignment, the job description.

the parameters, the boundaries of the prophetic, what the prophetic does or what is it supposed to do.

And when I say the prophetic, I'm not just talking about prophets, I'm talking about the prophetic.

The term prophetic simply means anything that resonates with the spirit or spirit realm in the life of the believer.

In the Bible, you see prophets and spirituals are linked in 1 Corinthians 14 verse 37.

If anyone thinks himself to be a prophet or spiritual, Let him acknowledge that the things which I write to you are the commandments of the Lord." If anyone thinks himself to be a prophet or spiritual, he's trying to put the two in one category.

If you say you are a prophet, you are saying you are spiritual.

In other words, you deal with spiritual matters.

or you interact with the spiritual realm.

In other words, you interact with the realm outside of the physical.

Now, when we talk about the prophetic, we are also talking about the workings of the Holy Spirit.

That is to say, the supply of the Holy Spirit.

The Godhead, the Father, is always the originator.

originator of divine realities, then the Son is the administrator and the Spirit is the supplier.

He's always the one who does the final delivery of divine realities, the Spirit.

So, he's a supplier among the Godhead.

So, the prophetic, therefore, is the supply of divine realities through revelation and utterance.

So, these are two major ways that you can experience the prophetic revelation and then ultras.

And then when I say the prophetic is spiritual, I'm not saying that anything that is spontaneous or anything that does not follow a particular logic or science is prophetic.
