Was Joseph Smith Inspired By Demons? | Expert Historian Responds

Anyways, today we are going through, um, some, some long-awaited material.

There was a, a little bit of a, an uprising in the internet, like a couple months ago, about Joseph Smith and demons, probably due to a debate that happened between Luke Hansen, friend of the show, and a Catholic thinker named Ethan Muse.

Mm.

Yeah.

And our friend-

This is a-

...

Jesusandwhatnot made a video...

Oh, yeah.

Show this.

Just so you, just so we can get the history on this, this is Ethan Muse on the left, um, Catholic, who kind of just, at least from my perspective, just appeared in the apologetics space ex nihilo.

Mm.

[laughs] Yes.

Now everyone-

Up from the pit? No.

Now everyone's like, "This guy's the GOAT." Um, I am gonna try not to even talk about him too much, 'cause I feel like when I see his interactions with people online, gets pretty intense pretty fast, and I don't really want to engage him personally.

But, but can I...

Lighting's important.

Yeah.

I mean, this is big.

You're blown up in a way that's, that's a little rough from, from the get-go.

[laughs]

And I think w- before, I haven't watched it, but already I think you're at a disadvantage, so.
