The British and the French got involved because Russia was a threat to their trade routes in this part of the world.

The real spark that started this war was religious tension between Catholics and Orthodox people over access to Jerusalem and other holy sites controlled by the Ottoman Empire, something that also certainly was not new.

Same shit that goes on today.

People being butchered in the Middle East, thanks essentially to various nations insisting that the God whose existence they can never fully prove, but worship is more real and better as are his people than somebody else's proposed God and people.

Especially the way it's represented in film.

But it's really a spiritual practice of spiritual liberation that was brought over by enslaved Africans and combined with Catholicism in order to cloak it and keep it away from colonial culture.

Kind of like Santeria.

United Universalists, there's quite a few.

Once you get away from the cult religions like Catholicism, right? They're much more open and flexible.

I think they want to go back to a time that was actually not as good as today.

Catholics and Protestants murdered each other in droves across Europe.

And after a while, when they came here, they fought and then they learned to live with one another.

And Catholics and Protestants murdered Jews by the dozens.

But American Christians are the best friends Jews ever had.

And I'm very aware of the arguments of good men like Robert Spencer.

After 9-11, the transformation of a lot of our law enforcement, a lot of our law enforcement was transformed into a terrorist fighting force.

The FBI, which hadn't been doing that before really, was much more focused on.

What's resulted was this institutional hesitancy in confronting extremism from Islam.

Again, not from Catholics or Protestants, from Islam.

And they said that they have a reluct-- they had a reluctance to change organizational claims, and this has led to a massive And look what's going on, not just in Britain, but in the Isles.

Look what's going on in Ireland.
