And then really not till One Battle After Another was there one where I was like, oh, this, you know, this is definitely an important film.
I think the overall crop is good, but I think it was a late arriving crop of films.
I had a hard time getting greatly, as always, enjoyed the practice of watching everything, thinking about everything.
I draw kind of a line at number five if I'm looking at my rankings, one to ten.
I thought there were five that I really, really liked, and I thought there were five that I could kind of take or leave, which I guess is fair.
You may feel differently, but not the strongest, not the weakest, just some forgettable stuff, I think, but some real high highs.
I think for me, it might be a little bit stronger than last year, but I definitely agree that it was.
I remember even fantasy on the big picture early last year was talking about the movies that were coming out and was like looking at like the releases in the fall and And was like, there was like a weekend where there were like six movies that were coming out.
And, you know, probably three or four of them are going to be ones that we talk about where it's like these are very crowded toward the end of the year.
when they're a little bit more spaced out i would the one thing is that i would say and then when you know when we get into rankings i feel like the highs maybe it's just like the averages that the highs are so high it feels like it drags the whole year up a little bit but my general sense is that i think this might be a little bit of a stronger year than last year
