Jul 8, 2026 ¡ 36 min ¡ 17 segments
On this weekâs episode of THE SCRIPT, Cardale Jones and host Dave Holmes are back with another entertaining and informative show. We kick things off with a game of âWhereâs Beanie?â as Beanie Wells isâŚ
All right, let's start with another team that looked like they were going to be down a man, and then they weren't.
So, Cardell, it made me wonder, if you could have one call overturned, In your entire career, what would it be? Oh, this is
And I thought about that after we saw that, you know, that overturn the following day with the World Cup situation.
And it was for me, it's my high school state championship game, 99 yard touchdown callback versus Hilliard Davidson.
a few weeks ago on the show, not just the wrong call, not just a bad call, but it's the wrong call.
And the results was devastating for our team to not to be taking a touchdown off the board, not just putting us in a lead and a lot of momentum at that point, but your boy would have went down in the history books of high school football and the record books of the longest touchdown passes a championship game.
When you're in a game and you get a bad call that goes against you, how much does it weigh on you as a player?
I mean, because I think the biggest thing when you think about things like that is how to respond to those situations.
And I think, you know, the emphasis on things like that, you look at Ohio State for the last couple of years, a big cause going the wrong way and how they responded.
You know, you try to live in that mindset of one play at a time or the next play.
But it's hard to, especially when the moments are so high and happen in the critical times of the game.
