Brian Hoyer and David Andrews are back with a brand new episode of The Quick Snap Podcast. They discuss their expectations for the Patriots heading into the playoffs, what they learned from a dominant…
David, though, sorry to interrupt you, but if you're saying if we lose to the Chargers on Sunday night football, you're not going to be disappointed?
For them to lose to the Chargers, in my mind... one, you got to go out there and lay an egg.
And if they laid an egg, which I don't think we've seen, we've seen this team not play their best four quarters of football game, but we've seen spurts of like really good football.
And then, you know, like let's say Cincinnati, they started off the game slow and then they come on and play really well.
Or the Buffalo game, whatever it was three, four weeks ago, like they play some of the two of the one and a half to two of the best quarters of football.
So, if they go out there and they play a really good game and lose, like, I'll be disappointed.
some days it's not your day like they've already exceeded expectations yeah like losing in the divisional round to the chargers would be disappointing but i i don't i don't do you understand what i'm trying
to say i think i think to me it would be more like man it was such a great season i wanted to keep going on to be able to watch and watch this team grow but i think they've they've surpassed everybody's expectations other than themselves i'm sure so i think that's kind of what you're saying um but i think you're right i think they would have to just go and completely not be themselves to lose this game
and that's what I think about this team is and I've said this multiple times their best is good enough to beat anybody I believe in this year's NFL now what is that best look like and I don't think they have to play perfect but they're gonna have to play really good And this is the playoffs.
a lot of... not weird ways because it's no, no years the same, but I kind of look back to 18 where we went, had that stretch and we lost, we lost to Miami.
And then you come back and you play two teams that you really should go out and handle.
