Sony Michel

This was almost like they wanted a culmination for Nick Saban and Alabama tonight.

Everything was in Bama's favor or like it was an interception or it was a missed PI or everything was in Bama's – it was nothing of – like if you watch, their center was holding Sony – and Griffin all night I'm talking like up around the neck like you can literally see the jersey being hung and like the play where they threw it to Pritchard on the tight end like you can see Valden getting held and Kirk is like ignoring it and talking about how well Keelan is sitting in the pocket throwing the pass but please ignore the holding on that play and I'm just like I can't stand listening to Kirk and Chris anymore so I gotta go on that that that rant Why, Rusty, when we are in first and goal, or we are in goal-to-goal, goal-to-line situation, why don't we throw to Elias every time? I'm sorry.

I

agree.

I say this, too.

I say this, too.

If you're in town next weekend, they're going to honor Nick and Sony on the field.

I don't know if I'm going to get in trouble for saying that.

It's funny because Josh McDaniels has always been like that, even back to the Tom Brady days.

You know, it's very rare you see – a player in the plate Patriot, like a running back for the Patriots that takes the bulk of the cut, both bulk of the touches, um, even going back to guys like LeGarrette Blunt and Shane Vereen and, um, And, and Sony Michelle, I mean, there's, and Danny Woodhead.

I mean, it's always kind of been a split, you know, with Josh McDaniels as the OC, you know, whether it's been with Bill Belichick or with Mike Rabel.

So it's, I think, yeah, a lot of your points are perfectly valid for Travion Henderson, and I'll make sure to keep that in mind when it comes to thinking about trading for him or using him in the future.

Curtis, yeah, dang it.

Sony Michelle.

[bell dinging]

Um-

Sony Michelle.

[laughs]

Yeah.

You mentioned maybe Bo Walker.

Our fear is, as we talked about this week on the show, in no uncertain terms, the level of drop-off between RB1 and RB2 and 3 on this roster is... is pronounced, okay? It's not a Nick and Sony situation where there's clearly a one and a two, but if two is in there, you still feel pretty good about it, right? This is more of a, let's spell Nate Frazier.

And wait for him to get back on the field.

And maybe hit a big play.

you get him in the 2013 class, they miss him on signing day.

Well, two months later, at the end of March, Sony commits to Georgia in the very next class.

So, you know what I mean? There's a lot of different stories and angles that go there, but I'll never forget that one leaving there.

Boy, that one hurt, man.

Before we get too much into all the acts from Saturday's game, Jake, I got to tell you, I thought you did a great job on Saturday.

It was what, you, Sony Michelle, J.R. Reid, I think.

I'm busy.

Sometimes I'm not always paying as close attention as I could, but a good number of your teammates from that 2017 team honored on the field.
