And he's a very specific player for a certain type of defensive scheme, but he can be a game changer for you, right? So is there someone out there that calls the Chargers and sees if they can fish Derwin James out of there? So those would be the sorts of things that I would be looking at, right? It's more so...

Are you willing to kind of make that phone call and put something out there for those teams? The other one that I think is just sort of interesting is if the Raiders lose a couple more games and there's a quarterback injury, could we see Kirk Cousins on the move? That one's just sort of an interesting one to kind of consider.

I don't know how realistic it would be, but I do know that they love where Fernando Mendoza is right now, so I don't think they're that far off from feeling comfortable playing him.

The report is that they're considering putting Derwin James on IR.

If that's the case, is there a scenario, and I don't even know this, so I wanted to kind of go to you on this.

Could the Bills trade for Derwin James and then put him on IR? Or what's the kind of mechanics around something like that?

They'd have to go through the physical situation, sign off on how that all looks.

Safety Derwin James on the Chargers, hamstring injury, has been out with this injury.

Well, he had a setback and has not practiced this week, and it looks like he's going to go to the designated to return injured reserve and sit for four games.

So keep an eye on that for this weekend.
