Micah, I don't know if you saw this, man, but, uh, we got some big news coming out of the college football world, uh, and it's regarding the college football playoffs.

A lot of you guys were tagging us in this, and I want to go ahead and just bring this up and get it out the way.

If you guys are watching the stream or clicking on the video, I promise you we're going to talk Alabama-Tennessee plenty, but we got to talk about this because it's early in the show, and this is a big deal.

Uh, we've been talking about the college football playoffs, potential expansions for, I don't know, going on, it feels like a year at this point.

Why? Because the more football games, the more money that you make, the more revenue that's generated.

And it's easy to try to say that they're greedy for that, Micah, but at the end of the day, football players are now being paid.

You know what I mean? There's a lot more costs when it comes to college football, really college athletics.

I mean, I hate to say it, but I kind of understand maybe why they're looking to maybe generate a little bit more revenue.

But that said, this is the latest with the, the 24-team college football playoff model, because that's pretty much where we're headed.

And now this deal is not officially confirmed, at least it wasn't the last time I checked, but again, it's pretty much near completion.

This is, um [smacks lips] what is her name? Heather, uh, Heather Dennis Steven, I can't pronounce his last name, but, uh, you guys tagged us on this.

So this is her speaking on it, kind of what this will look like on, uh, I believe it was, uh, Get Up ESPN.

This is what, uh, they're having to say about the college football playoff expansion.
Heather, it sounds like this is going forward.
What should the football fans, the college football fans, what do they need to know about how this will fundamentally change the sport?
