And after Alabama inability to run the football last year, that 3.4 yards per carry, Kalen DeBoer, Courtney Morgan, Ryan Grubb, the entire offensive staff said, man, not only do we need better running backs, not only do we need better tackles and guards, we need to go find some tight ends that are more than just pass catches.

We need to find some ballers.

And between Jay Lindsey and Lewis and Pritchett at times, even though he's more of a catch the ball down the field kind of guy, Caleb Edwards has improved as a blocker and Josh Ford is the best they have.

They're dapping it up.

I don't know if they got the liquor flowing in there at some point, because they look like they're having the time of their life.

Um, What did you think of Ryan Grubb's performance tonight? Obviously, you scored 49 points and you put up that much offense.

I'm sure it's good, but is there anything that you come away wanting from Grubb tonight?

But Ryan Grubb last week, I didn't hate the play calling.

and definitely started to pick things up as the game carried on.

This week, it was really nice to see them really start to get rolling faster.

But overall, just your thoughts on the running back rotation and how it looked tonight.

Yeah, I think first, I mean, they said they're going to take away the run, beat us in the air.

Ryan Grubb was talking about the tight end room and their lack of production as far as the pass game goes.

And he talked about how they're using them as run blockers and they continue to use them as run blockers.

They came out in 12 personnel to start the game.

But I still think they probably hovered around that 46% mark of offensive snaps playing 12, 13 personnel.

I think there was one play with 14 personnel.

But going back to the pass game, pass catching ryan grubb talked about he's like we're gonna get those guys continue to get involved and again i like i said last uh post game uh live show it there's also that keelan factor of it like getting him because it's very rare that your tight end is really kind of your first read um You got to look to the progressions, Cale DeBoer talked about as well, the offensive production from the tight ends in the pass catching game.

It was your receivers running those right routes and then maybe not exactly open, but it opens up for the tight end.
