We are super, super stoked for, uh, I guess the production that you've been a big part of coming on.

Uh, it's hard to tell when this is gonna air, but for those that may be watching, we've got Below coming on Netflix production here in Newfoundland and Labrador, everywhere.

But we're lucky, 'cause we got one of the, the, the people behind the scenes that's gonna make this the show that it is.

Now, Allison, I'm total fanboy here, gonna geek out, and we'll get into the different things you've done.

But, like, so just for our audience, I think we have, you're joining Alex and I as Newfoundlanders and Labradoreans.

But maybe a little bit of the, the origin story about, uh, where, you know, where you are today, but how, what was the road to get there?

Um, so I'm from Gander, and, um, I have a, I, when I was 18, I went and I studied acting, um, at Grenfell Campus in Corner Brook.

And I started my career as an actor, and then I did my master's in fine arts in acting at York in Toronto, um, when I was in my mid-20s.

I started teaching acting at York, and then I went back to Grenfell and taught there for a long time at a pretty young age.

And kind of, like, the way, the privilege of living in Newfoundland is if you're interested in something in the arts, you can find a path to make it happen, and then through kind of, like, apprenticeships, um, you can get better.

And I just have, like, a, a really insatiable curiosity about, about many intersections in the arts world, so that's why I do so many different things.

But at the moment, I really consider myself to be mostly a theater director.

I'm gonna follow up on something you said there about the privilege of being in Newfoundland, being able to get into the arts if that's what you really want.
