Leading Tickles

Like, kids would get to go to Florida and stuff, and my mom was like, "Until you know every part of this island, you're not leaving it." And that was her stance.

So, like, we would take our summer vacation camping in like Leading Tickles, [laughs] and while everybody else was, like, leaving the province.

My mom is from the Southern Shore and my dad is from the Bonavista Peninsula.

So one of the main things I n- realized growing up was, "Why do my mom and my dad sound so different, um, from each other?" And, and like knowing that they're from the "same place", quote, unquote.
