There's a lot of driving.

You know, we drove from St. John's to Gander to Cornerbrook, which is a long, long way.

But I'd met the Guju girls.

They're a hoot.

Well, if you're comparing me to Alan, that's a pretty easy one because Alan's from Petty Harbour, which as the crow flies from where I live is not very far at all, but it's two completely different worlds.

That is outport Newfoundland.

I was born and raised in St. John's and Mount Pearl, which is kind of city living.

So the two differences are vast.

A weather window has just opened up and we are going to attempt to dive tomorrow.

We started streaming from St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada yesterday and are planning to start dive operations around 4 a.m. tomorrow morning, he wrote.

His company, Action Aviation, posted yesterday at 4 a.m. confirming that he was diving.

Until then, we have a lot of preparations and briefings to do.

In a statement, President Richard Garriott de Cayu of the Explorers Club said they are ready to provide the UK-based Magellan's remotely operated vehicle that is certified to travel as deep as 6,000 meters.

In a statement on their website, deepwater specialist Magellan said they were contacted by OceanGate on Monday and immediately offered knowledge of the site and expertise in operating at depth.

The company added that it has been working with the UK and the US agencies to move its specialist equipment and support crew from St. John's, Newfoundland, following instructions to mobilize from Ocean Gate.

And I think the biggest thing here that's hindering things is the timeframe that they have to work with.

Let's see, and the traffic heads up really quickly for the west end of St. John's.

I want to get this out, because it is a very well-used route through the city, from Road Deluxe to Water Street, that stretch that takes you down through St. Mary's School and that sort of thing, narrow winding road, picturesque, down through the heavily treed area there.

And I can't imagine with it never being at St. John's before.

The music you are going to hear and see, you know that all the biggies, all the stars in the Canadian country music industry are going to be in St. John's for this event.

And for me, I'm so excited because the Legend Show on the Thursday night, And then the actual award show in the arena there in St. John's is just going to be electric.

But can you imagine, say, George Street, all the music that you're going to be able to see during that Country Music Week? It's going to be, it boggles my mind because I have been at, since 1990, I've been going to Country Music Week.

So I've seen a lot and we've been to a lot of cities, but this one really excites me.

Heard that Iron Kingdom was in fucking St. John's.

And they are all, as you know, lovely people and said yes.

And so I flew out to St. John's and booked a studio with Jason Whelan and we recorded it.
