Badgers return to practice, Jim Polzin joins the show

I feel like there's only been two days where one guy really, really took over and stood out, the one we were talking about with him.

And then Malachi Coleman, a practice, I think that was last weekend.

And then he kind of disappeared because he got dinged up.

But he was back, and he is – He is vocal.

I think we could say that trying to get guys going even after, you know, after every single play in the offense had their more than their share today of plays where especially in the run game where you get excited about it.

They also the defense also had some moments on Sunday specifically.

Mason Posa tipping a pass and then intercepting it himself.

He's been in and out of teamwork or team drills this fall camp.

I know coming into fall camp, he was dealing with a hamstring injury, but that really didn't really impact him.

And then you have – he got his ankle taped today and then was back out there.

And as soon as he got back out there, he intercepted a pass.

I mean, he's just different, and I think – He is...

Who is the key for that defense? Is it him? Or is it them in terms of him and Cooper Catalano? Or is it something else? Because I feel like last year, the defensive line was so underrated in allowing what those guys were able to do in late October and November.

The defensive line was such a huge part of that.

They've had to replace most of those guys.

I'm anxious to see or interested to see how that plays out.

But I think it's not...

Too simple to say how those two go, Catalano and Posa, is how the defense goes?

Yeah, I think so to some degree.

I mean, I think if those two can be the game wreckers we think they could be, then that certainly, you know, that gives Mike Trestle a ton of options defensively.

I mean, and I just think that stuff like that spreads.

To me, like if you're talking about a key, I still – I think they need to...

I'm still a little bit worried about the pass rush.

Like, even though we've seen them get to the quarterback this camp, that's another thing where I want to see it in games.
