When you go back and watch this play, they dial up a fake receiver screen, a faux screen on the wide side of the field to Eugene Hilton Jr., and the defenders, you can tell it draws their attention.

But me personally...

I think the play of the game was the touchdown pass from Colton Joseph to Eugene Hilton that got them within three.

The touchdown pass to Jacob Harris, you have to give more credit to the play design than you do maybe to accuracy or good quarterback or good receiver play or good tight end play because the way that play was schemed up, Jacob Harris was wide open 15 yards down the field.

I mean, there wasn't a soul around him for the pitch and catch.

The touchdown pass from Colton Joseph to Eugene Hilton was That was an out route to the far sideline.

Now we've talked about how Colton Joseph's arm maybe doesn't look as strong as we thought it would be.

Maybe he doesn't even look as fast as we thought he would be as a dual threat quarterback.

That pass, that 11 yard touchdown pass to the sideline over the top of a defender right into Eugene Hilton's hands and he tippy toes his way in for the touchdown.

Five catches, 105 yards for Jacob Harris.

Eugene Hilton had a couple catches.

Brooks had a couple catches.

Henry had a couple catches.

But there are other throws and other plays that he makes that are so dynamic and so special.

And those two touchdown drives, the 11-yard touchdown pass to Eugene Hilton Jr., this is a group that I think there are a lot of cliches in sports but they really seem to have a true belief in each other even when things don't look very good because the second interception that Colton threw Eugene talked after the game about the fact that that was his fault that he cut the route short or gave up on the route and maybe you'd look at and say well Colton threw that pretty far toward the sideline and was Eugene going to get there but Eugene didn't give him a chance and Colton continued to go back to him, and they had that huge play.

And the 72-yard touchdown pass to Jacob Harris, which is just... unbelievable really you know wisconsin's got the ball at the 28 and there's less than a minute and a half left and you need to dial up a big shot and and harris has already made so many big plays knocked his defender over uh more than a nudge as jacob said it but it was within for a few yards of the line of scrimmage and either way he got loose and got the touchdown pass and I mean, there's just so much about what went right.

But I think Colton Joseph and the moxie that he demonstrated and the offense to rally around him and the freedom and the looseness with which they play, too, because, you know, that that stadium is pretty insane.

He didn't play a ton last week.

and then Mason Posa and Eugene Hilton are going to play, but they're all dealing with Mason Posa's got a little bit turf toe, so they're both a little bit banged up.

This is also the first real test for Penn State.

They have played no one so far.

We saw Malachi Coleman win healthy, what he's able to do.

Eugene Hilton Jr., who's been dinged up too.

They have the guys who can go out and make those plays, but the thing about it is in a game like this, and we've seen this over the years, those opportunities against a team this talented, fewer and further between.

So those few chances that you get, you've got to hit on at least one or two.
