Guy FelicellaGuestNate PikeHostI'm gonna, I'm gonna do my little bit at the front so that everybody can say Nate's horribly biased, and that's fine.
I, I have no doubts that this will be a good faith conversation that we're gonna have tonight.
But the, the fact that there are bad w- people who I would consider to be acting in bad faith, certainly on this file, um, i- i- relentlessly attacking you is deeply problematic for a lot of different reasons.
Um, but even more to the point, when we're talking about things that happened 30 years ago, and I wanna put this at the front end, 'cause I think it's really, really important.
When we're talking about things that happened 30 years ago, um, i- these are things that happened 30 years ago.
And, uh, you know, if, if, if you're going to go after someone for something that happened 30 years ago, especially when they have done as much work as you have to atone for your previous life, that to me is...
Like, what's the motivation here? What are we trying to accomplish here? Because it's not, um, uh, anything positive.
And I'm gonna say it out front, uh, you had a period in your life, an extended one, where, uh, I'm speaking in the broadest of terms, I hope that this isn't offensive to you, you were a bad guy.
I mean, y- I, I take a look at the, the, the documentary that, that, that, that you were part of where you talk about the things that you did and the things that were done to you, and there's no question bad things happened.
Uh, and that to me is what is so striking about the conversation we're gonna have tonight because you're a guy who owns the things that you've done.
Um, and, and I've had many conversations with you on the record and off the record where you have done exactly that.
And if the, the, the items of contention that we're going to get into had any truth to them, I have no doubts that you would just be like, "Yeah, that happened." Um, but that's not what's happening here.
