Janet GarciaHOST
69:37
Um, and it was really fun to have, um, I don't know a meal that felt like so intentional and felt somewhat you know you get so used to like the run of the mill like you're eating food at home and when you're eating at home it's always just like I don't know throw something on the TV or like I guess I'll check my phone really quick or whatever and just to sit down and like enjoy like a really nice like coarsed diverse meal was just like man this is what food's about and like I really like that as someone that's kind of like a food nerd yeah so that was a lot of fun and yeah Hakone it's cute it's sweet it definitely is like It's funny because it's not nearly this corporate, but it does kind of have the vibe of like a less corporate version of when you when you're at like Fisherman's Wharf or like one of those kind of it's like just a bunch of shops for you to like have something to kind of do.
Janet GarciaHOST

Janet GarciaHOST
70:30
which i think coffee jelly is actually like like derives i think from like europe or something but it's mostly popular in japan at this point is what i was reading about it's like a british slash american thing like it was once common there and now it's mostly a japan thing um and it's what sounds like it's jelly but it's coffee and it's like usually it has like whipped cream or ice cream so it's like kind of that nice like bitter sweetness vibe um And before I came here, I'd heard of the coffee jelly because I heard that that anime clip that always goes around of who would spend that much money on a coffee jelly.
