The first question is from ABC, who says this, I was surprised to see harsh criticism aimed at the Naza documentary.
And for those of you who don't know, Naza is a, it's a documentary made by two Israeli filmmakers, Yubel Abraham, who won the Oscar with a Palestinian two years ago for a documentary they did on life in the West Bank and the apartheid regime in Israel and the drastic differences in each of their lives due to nothing but the fact that one is Israeli and one is Arab.
and then a filmmaker named rachel soar um and it i think it just got released or it's about to be released and the unique part of this uh film is that it interviews two dozen idf soldiers their anonymity is protected they are their face isn't shown their names aren't given their voice is altered but they are idf soldiers uh who who were in gaza i think all of them were most of them were maybe there were a couple who just worked in the idea from israel on the war And they basically all confessed to the most shocking crimes.
PTSD and suicide, high rates of suicide among Israeli soldiers who went to Gaza.
Because even though they did things monstrous and even just joining the IDF, in my view, is monstrous.
And so if you go and see just pure sadism and dehumanization and mass slaughter and mass murder, and especially of kids, a lot of people are going to be affected by it.
So they have two dozen or so IDF soldiers who are just everything that organizations have been saying, everything that...
So let me read the question because it has created a lot, even though the film is getting rave reviews and it's kind of considered a watershed moment in that these are Israelis confessing.
It's actually quite controversial, including among a lot of Israel critics and people who are activists with the pro-Palestinian cause.
So it says, I was surprised to see harsh criticism aimed at the NASA documentary and its directors from a few prominent people who do great work for Palestinian causes.
Some of the criticism used the same woke language from recent movements like, quote, not centering or believing Palestinian voices.
I would have thought that any effort to get more people to turn against Israel would be welcome, but apparently not.
Any thoughts? So I'm just going to show you a couple of critiques of the film from Palestinian activists or people active in the Palestinian cause, people who I respect and know, so that we can then discuss it.
