In a social media post, Netanyahu stated his intention to introduce legislation that would revoke the citizenship of individuals who smear the IDF, declaring, Their place is not with us.

A second proposed law would significantly increase the financial penalties for slander against the IDF, by 20-fold.

These measures appear to be a response to recent criticisms, including the documentary, NAZA, directed by Israeli journalists Yuval Abraham and Rachel Shaw, which alleges systematic mass civilian casualties in Israeli military operations in Gaza.

Culture Minister Miki Zohar has expressed support for these initiatives, stating it is time to put an end to this disgrace.

And you should know, you should know the IDF have proof positive that they didn't commit genocide legally.

They blocked many, many attacks.

I think hundreds because they were afraid of killing civilians.

Of course, you're going to respond by sending your forces into Gaza at night.

And yet, for Israel's defense minister, Yoav Galant, and for most of the IDF high command, that was not what they thought Israel should do.

And in those first days afterward, when Israel is still in disbelief, still burying its dead, no one knows if they can trust the army intelligence system.

Many Israeli senior officials thought Hezbollah is just waiting for us in the north, in Lebanon.

He himself was wounded several times in combat.

And so he was always asking when it came to Gaza, are we about to send Israeli ground troops into a death trap, into a bloodbath, which Hamas had spent, you know, more than 15 years shaping that territory, the tunnels and everything else for exactly that mission.

And when he found out following October 7th that the IDF was, didn't even have a plan ready to go off the shelf that they could invade Gaza fully.

They hadn't planned for it.

I mean, that that is significant and important.

But ultimately, it's also going to require that Israel is going to have to you know, the IDF is going to have to pull out from Gaza.

And, you know, Israelis on all ends of the political spectrum say that, you know, that Israel is not going to do that, that it is not going to fully withdraw from the Gaza Strip.

And if there's going to be any real fundamental change, it will only come, I would argue... through real pressure on Israel, through real consequences.
