So in Revelation chapter four and verse 11, the Bible says, you are worthy, oh Lord, our God, to receive glory and honor and power for you created all things.

And God shows us that in this is pleasure, He created all things, all right, to exist for his glory, for his pleasure, to worship him.

See, when God was telling the Israelites and giving them the commandments, the first commandment God gives them is that you would have no other gods before me.

in the cool of the day man would enjoy fellowship with god and have that posture with a god and that void in us was being filled in the presence of god of course until the fall of man by the end of the chapter in verse 24 of genesis 3 we see about how god drove them out of the garden and now there is a distance between man and god now there is restriction between man and god and from that moment what we see in the trajectory is that man is on a journey on a spiritual journey of longing because I'm wired to worship.

So I'm on this journey of longing and seeking the object, the subject of my worship and the rightness of my worship.

By John chapter four, we meet Jesus having a conversation with the Samaritan woman.

And the Bible says that, you know, she's telling him from verse 20 that our fathers worshiped on this mountain.

And you Jews say, So everybody has how they worship and where they worship and what they worship.

And what she's looking for with Jesus in the conversation is align me with the true worship.

Align me with the right way to worship, with the right person I should worship.
