Book of Revelation

So we have to keep that.

In fact, I would say this, that when in Revelation, when there's the reprimand against, you've done all the good stuff, but this one thing I have against you, you've left your first love.

That first love concept is not how I used to love Jesus.

It's not like, remember when you first got saved? Remember you were super radical and you loved Jesus? You gotta go back to that.

And finally, there was the heavenly hosts with their tremendous peon of praise.

And then the book of Revelation, when we get a glimpse into heaven, why we see a great company gathered around the throne of God, and they're singing a new song.

And that'll be probably the first time I'm going to ever sing.

Up to the present, I've never been able to hit a note.

The mountains will be overturned and the cliffs will crumble and every wall will fall to the ground.

And in the book of Revelation, it says during the tribulation period near its end, God will send a great earthquake that will be felt in all of the earth.

It ain't going to be...

Our normal 7.0s that we like just, oh well, we had a 7.0. Who knows what it's going to be, but the whole earth is going to feel it.

John says, And in righteousness he judges and makes war.

Yeah.

Well, today we're going to look into the book of Ezekiel.

We'll start there in chapters 42 through 44, and then we will finish in Revelation chapter 22.

This is the word of the Lord.

Ezekiel 42.

First batch of dough must also be given to the priests, so the Lord will bless your homes.

The priests may not eat meat from any bird or animal that dies a natural death or that dies after being attacked by another animal.

Revelation 22 Then the angel showed me a river with the water of life clear as crystal flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb.

It flowed down the center of the main street.

So I guess you've got to be able to read and potentially read a fair chunk all in a setting so it can't be too young, but certainly getting kids and students involved, a fabulous thing.

Hey, how many hours does it take to go from Genesis all the way through to Revelation, which is your plan, a Bible reading marathon across a number of days? How many hours?

Well, give or take around 80 hours.

80 hours to be reading the Bible.

Colossians chapter 1 tells us that Jesus is the firstborn of all creation.

John chapter 1 and Revelation chapter 13 tell us that Jesus is the Lamb of God, slain for the world's sins.

The firstborn Lamb that Abel brought to God foreshadowed the sacrifice God would bring to redeem us all and get us back into paradise.

Jesus is the greater Cain who overcame evil instead of succumbing to it.

But today we come to chapter 12 and 13, and we deal with an individual known as the Antichrist.

Turn with me please, chapter 12, book of Revelation, beginning in verse 1.

John calls this Antichrist, he called him the beast.

But we also meet other symbolic figures, a multi-headed dragon and all of that stuff, and I'm going to demystify it by the power and the grace of God very soon.

You're not going to lose your salvation either way.

In verse 7, Satan goes to war against Michael and the angels of the Lord.

Now, I need to stop here and give you a principle about prophetic writing that will help you when you read other prophetic writings like Isaiah and Ezekiel and Daniel and certainly Revelation.

In prophetic writing, you find that the past and the present and the future are written side by side.

of how things could end up being so destructive.

And the Bible, like the book of Revelation and so on, points to the fact that the end days are going to be something dreadful.

And I can see that we're sort of on the edge of it.

So I'll let you guys pick up from what I've just said and see what your thoughts are.

I mean, there's so many things.

You're mentioning the water and all that, and we've got power difficulties, and then there's shortage or price increases in diesel and so forth, which is going to affect food and all of that sort of thing.

So everything is tying in together to a picture that looks... really difficult in the days ahead and I don't believe it's an accident and then with AI just one more scripture I was thinking about this morning and that's Revelation 13 15 where it says he was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed so I mean I know Nebuchadnezzar and Daniel, we had something similar.

You know, if you don't worship this golden image, you'll be killed or whatever.
