SVP and Stanford Steve are back to share their thoughts from Sunday and Monday’s CFB games and discuss what interests them most heading into this NFL season. Ole Miss edged out Louisville in a Sunday…
Stanford SteveHostJackPanelistSo with that, Steve asked me last night, what are we going to talk about? Because we did empty the bucket Saturday night.
At this point, people are either convinced it's a full fledged conspiracy or no, no.
We've got to get our clocks synced because you just don't want a massive audience seeing a situation like that and then no one saw the clock you saw, and that's the right clock.
They have a gigantic opportunity Saturday, and the way that Kyle Winningham talked about Bryce Underwood It was like, hey, man, a lot of people got to get better, but this isn't infinite.
They won that monstrous NIL recruiting battle and flipped him from LSU, which is remarkable given LSU's current state of affairs.
But Underwood and Michigan have a gigantic opportunity right out the gate this week with OU coming in, and he's got receipts for days if he goes out and plays well.
But if he doesn't, then the Western Michigan game will be something we'll look back at and go, That was a close game because yes, Western Michigan's good, but Michigan wasn't.
Or they pivot and they have the opportunity to pivot to becoming what Michigan fans hope they'll be right now.
I'm just interested in what it seems like you think Underwood could be, do, if you have any read or any feel on that at all.

Uh, you know, going through it, you know, everybody wants more, right? You know, when you start hearing dollar amounts of contract, it's like NFL, because it's basically the NFL now.
know, and the numbers were, I mean, if it goes wrong, this is a giant test case for buyer's remorse.
I mean, you're pot committed to a giant eight-figure number to a guy that if he can't do it, well, tough shit.
