He just screamed.

[screams] The line to check out was unbelievably long at Home Depot.

When it was finally Jamie's turn, he was ready to explode.

Jamie considered himself a pretty patient guy, but getting here and finding what he needed had been a nightmare.

"Huh?" Jamie just wanted to get back to the bus stop so he wouldn't have to wait 20 minutes in the sun.

"Yeah, yeah.

I'm good, man." "Are you using your Home Depot credit card today?" the kid droned.

"Card holders are getting an extra 15%." "No, I'm using cash." "Did you want a sign?" "No.

And she's like, "Great.

You work at Home Depot, right?"

"Yeah, I work at Home Depot."

"Wonderful.

I'ma link up with you when you leave Home Depot.

Can you pick me up some bungee cords from your job since you work there?" And he was like, "Sure, yeah, I'll be off soon.

You want me to meet you somewhere?" She's like, "No, no, no.

They are unbelievable.

Oh, I was at Home Depot the other day, 'cause I, I just bring my son to hang out, 'cause his runs around, and they have these Halloween ones that are adorable.

Like is-- I remember I was sleeping in.

I was working at Home Depot at the time.

I remember my sister waking me up.

We were all living at home.

I did not see it live, because after the first one, I guess it was people didn't know what was going on.

Then the second one hit, then she was panicking, came and woke me up, and I was like, "What? Wow, what's happening?" And then from that moment on, obviously life changed forever, where you were just trying to comprehend the severity of what just took place.

And then I remember working, I was working my shift at Home Depot later that night at 4:00 p.m., like we were all scheduled to work.

We go in there and people buying shovels and masks, I was telling the story to Johnny Franco, and all sorts of stuff to help out.

I was just looking at, like, you know, these consumer discretionary stocks, you know.

You look at names and, you know, I know we don't get to, into, like, individual names much on the show here, but you look at, like, what's happening with Nike, Lulu, I think Home Depot, even Walmart, Costco, all these, like, s- major consumer stocks are just getting crushed right now.

Yeah, but Nike and Lulu, they just, they, they went woke and they got smashed.

Like, the moment that you're gonna get away from your core brand, you're gonna get destroyed.

And gloves.

And they sent us over with piles of Home Depot orange buckets.

And we walked from the pier to the pile and gave them to all the first responders that were there digging through the rubble.

And I'll never forget it.

And you go, OK, get a little bit of chlorine.

Go to the drugstore or the go to your local Lowe's or Home Depot.

And here's a list of what you need.

It can be pretty dangerous stuff.

And in more cases, refunds are taking longer because retailers are inspecting the returned items.

Home Depot said such refunds can take as many as 17 business days now to show up in a customer's account.

And of course, Amazon is a company that deals with all sorts of this stuff.

Amazon.com now flags some product listings and is starting to ask customers for the reason they're making the returns, and that's adding some friction to the return process for them.
