Cleveland's Surprising Start1:09 – 4:20

1:09

But the story of Thursday night – and the game was tough to watch with all the flags – Cleveland wins, and Cleveland is now 3-1.

1:16

The game goes over, and it's funny.

1:17

I sat here before Week 1 and a lot of the summer doing these preview shows saying, you know what, Cleveland, the roster's not bad.

1:23

2-52's not that bad.

1:26

They've always got some guys on defense.

1:28

The skill players are improved.

1:29

I picked them Week 1, and they got absolutely thrashed.

1:32

And I didn't go back to them, and here they are.

1:33

They've won three in a row.

1:34

They've covered three in a row.

1:35

Todd Munkin is now 9-1 to win coach of the year.

1:37

I don't think that's a bad bet.

1:39

Now you've missed the 30-35 to ones.

1:41

But Kubiak's the short shot.

1:43

The Raiders coach, that's probably not sustainable.

1:45

O'Connell, the Vikings coach, is the second short shot.

1:48

He just won it a couple of years ago, so I don't think there'd be an appetite to give it to him.

1:51

Plus, that offense has been absolutely just dreadful.

1:55

Absolutely dreadful.

1:56

So that's probably 4-0 after this week.

2:00

And I'll get to my picks here in a second.

2:02

But just from a narrative standpoint, I don't know.

2:05

Unless they got the one seed or something.

2:07

I don't know how you're giving it to O'Connell.

2:08

So I think Munkin at 9-1 is not that bad.
