So we'll see what that kind of looks like for him on Friday, whether he gets back on the field.

But there's a good chance that, you know, Case Keenum can be your backup quarterback and then the Bears are going to have to I think they would have to sign someone onto their practice squad for that emergency quarterback number three.

So something to keep an eye on.

Obviously, I don't think Bears fans are planning on Caleb Williams getting injured or anything like that.

But you saw what happened with the Seahawks.

They weren't expecting Sam Darnold to get hurt early.

So Case Keenum, if Tyson Bajan doesn't back out there, I would imagine that Case Keenum is your backup quarterback heading into this game.

Yeah, we don't even want to think about that scenario.

He's got a back issue going on.

That would make Case Keenum the number two.

Who would be the emergency quarterback? Because there's not one listed on the practice squad.

Yeah, there's not right now.

Uh, absolutely.

Now, listen, I, I like Case Keenum in their quarterback room, but, uh, I think they've got a very, very high opinion of, of Tyson Bagent.

Sure, and rightfully so.

So those are the, sort of the headlines.

You know, this didn't sound like something that was too concerning, uh, these back spasms he's been dealing with.

But I don't know if you have any other information, uh, 'cause we're starting to get later in the week, and do we, are we living in a world where Case Keenum's actually gonna be the backup quarterback on Sunday?

Well, of course I have all the information, uh, but there's only so much that I can, you know, let out to everybody.

Anyways, it doesn't sound like there's a huge level of concern.

Ben Johnson calling him day to day, which makes you feel like he's probably going to be out there this weekend um with that being said I do think um the Tyson Bajent as a DNP is worth discussing Clay because yesterday on the Chicago lead I told Cam and David I said everyone wants to trade Tyson Bajent now all of a sudden he's hurt and you're like oh boy like I guess it's Case Keenum.

And not saying that Case Keenum is not a serviceable backup, but you feel a lot better about Tyson Bajent being your backup.

You feel a lot better about Tyson Bajent going out there and being able to win you a football game, if God forbid.

And David said, good thing you have a durable quarterback.

It's pretty smart what they did with the Mendoza-Kirk Cousins situation.

I've really enjoyed what Case Keenum has brought to Caleb Williams' game.

Getting a veteran QB in there...

And plus, by the way, Aiden O'Connell, like another pretty capable, build a quarterback room, you know, like the idea of just like a guy who can come in and play is kind of out the window.
