The technology can take away the drudgery out of the tasks in a job that are just plain boring.


And if all we depend upon forever is back past chatter, it will go more and more and more wrong.

And so we've got to stay as an innovative society, and we've got to keep agency with people.

And I think one of the things that went wrong was that people became too selfish But offsetting that, some people actually went the other way and became too generous in a way which didn't invite reciprocity.

And Quakers were instrumental in building the Industrial Revolution, because by injecting a group of entrepreneurial people, whose entrepreneurship was entirely for the benefit of others, was a very good trigger point in getting things going.

But you can overplay it because you can say, oh, I care about everybody equally in the world.

And so I'm going to give you, whether you reciprocate or not, it doesn't matter.
